Working with developmentally disabled individuals has taught me to be extremely patient and empathetic. Working at the hospital has made me seen patients at their best and worst. Therefore I believe in improvement. A positive incline in my patients health is what motivates me to choose to further my education. Presently attending The University of Illinois at Chicago, juggling school, personal life, and work has also taught me to be extremely time cautious and very resourceful. I'm a Nurse Aide I have been a Nure Aide for 29 year and I have worked at Ingalls Memorial Hospital for 28 1/2 years I started working at what is now called Manor Care in Palos Heights. I was there 6 months and then got a job at Ingall's Memorial Hospital. I I have a phlebotomy certificate and completed the basic dysrhythmia class .I was able to care for my Grandmother who had Alzheimer's and Grandfather who had 2 strokes. Me and my Mother took care of them for about 15 years I was able to go part time and my Mom quit her job for 10 years to take care of them.I love older people and I wouldn't give up what I do for the word !!!iI also have 2 reliable vehicles a CAR and a SUV.I .I have all my Covid shots up to date .I renewed my CPR certification last month April 2022.

I started working for a caregiver when I was 16 taking care of someone's grandmother.
