Hello my name is Leslie. I have been a caregiver for 8 years, I started my journey with group home care with the mental disabled. Two years later I started elderly home care, making sure the elderly get a chance to stay in their own homes where they are comfortable is my pleasure. Taking care of the elderly is something I truly enjoy, letting them know they are not alone one day at a time. I can provide many different types of care, depending on the individuals needs. In 2016 I started my own LLC with the hopes of being able to provide more help to families by caring for their elderly family members. I am a recent Bachelors of Science in Health Science graduate working towards pursuing a future career as a Physician Assistant. I have 2 years of patient care experience working with patients in various specialities and settings (e.g., Progressive Critical Cardiovascular, Emergency Department, Orthopedic). I help care for an elderly couple now which I do as volunteer work since they are like family. I find the addition of cleaning, organizing, and being a companion very rewarding. I enjoy seeing that I have made a difference and have been able to make someone smile. I am proud of the success stories that I have been lucky to be part of over the years. I am fortunate that some of the families who have had success maintain contact with from time to time in addition to sending pictured. This is just priceless.
