Hi! I'm Blaykelyn, I've been a C.N.A since February, I got it through my High School. I love every minute of it. I love helping people. I'm going to college for nursing in the fall, but it's a community college so I'll only have classes 2 days a week, so i'll still have the time to do my job.

I have a lot of experience working with people from many different backgrounds, I am CPR and first aid certified for all ages and AED certified. Trained on de-escalation and on trauma Informed. I am patient and willing to go above and beyond for people in my community. I enjoy using what I have learned to benefit those who need those qualities and to learn more everyday that I can share. I am so grateful to have accomplished a career that I love!

I am always a very hard worker and give my best in any position I have held. I find the most personal satisfaction working with the elderly and those with disabilities. I feel that I make a positive difference in their lives.

I started as a Home Health Aide working for Hospice, then received a position at a Nursing Home where I fell in love with residents suffering from Dementia and Alzheimer's. I am also a CHT (Hemodialysis Technician), MHT (Mental Health Technician), and a Veterinary Technician working at the world renowned Hagyard Equine Medical Institute. I am a very hard working and compassionate person with a strong sense of integrity. I'm highly educated and trained in Dementia and Alzheimer's. This is where I shine! A calm and structured environment is important, and knowing when a patient is, "Sun-downing," is a must in my line of work. I find that gentle redirection and patience helps eliminate any stress, and or, triggers. I will make sure your loved one gets the best possible care, all the while maintaining dignity, respect, and encouraging independence.
