Hello, my name is Carrie Wallace. I became a caregiver because I am passionate about taking care of people. I strongly believe everyone deserves trustworthy, dependable, and compassionate care and be treated as if they were a member of my own family. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is getting to know people from all ages, stages and walks of life. As a CNA, I continue to take the necessary college courses to work towards becoming a Registered Nurse. I am a 51 yr old woman.i am divorced I have 3 grown children I have been in the medical field for 35 yrs ,I started in nursing homes then went to personhospital and them done some ISL work. In group homes then I went to private duty nursing.i love what I do .I have done private duty for the past 10 years I love it most of all .I have my own transportation I'm very dependable. Loving caring person.

I'm a skilled professional that has a passion for caring and providing services for the elderly. I provide therapy as well as a companion. I'm also a certified peer specialist and I love to listen. I'm loving and caring and treat others as if they're my relative.

I am a very good listener. I have a positive attitude and enjoy talking with the elderly. I have worked in nursing homes and love seeing the elderly every day and watching them accomplish stuff. I currently work with guys with disabilities like down syndrome, autism, and mental retardation. It is can be challenging but very rewarding

I've been working as a Private Duty caregiver for approximately 40 years with Hospice , Alzheimer, Dementia &, Parkinson and elderly clients. My personal achievement is to be the very best at every opportunity God has blessed me with; and make my client feel as safe and secure while in my care. I've worked with terminally ill clients from the beginning until the end(administered medications, contacted hospice & family, etc). I would take care of feeding tubes(flushing, hook& unhook(Kangaroo pump). I've worked with clients as a Personal Care Asst, Direct Support Asst and an advanced personal aide with wound care, catheter care, bladder/bowel care, bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, laundry, companionship, shopping, errands, etc. I took care of my husband that passed away suddenly 7 years ago, my ill mother-in-law and terminally ill father. I'm available evenings, overnights(preferably) and weekends. I have a full-time job, but am available as soon as possible.

I became a caregiver because I like knowing that I can make a difference in someone's life or even just help better their day. I love meeting all the different people with this job. It's always a new adventure every day which makes it more enjoyable and I love all the different personalities. I am proud to say that I have managed to get my C.N.A and find a job that I have fallen in love with. I am a mother of four and proud to be. I knew i would love this type of job because I love caring for others and helping them with what I can!
