Their personalities, their conversations, and you can actually learn a lot just from helping others. I'm proud I took the next step and completed my CNA classes. I. My name is Connie and my mother's name was Carol. I took care of her until her early death at 53 for 10 years. She had MS. After being in the veterinary field for 20 years, I've gained a level of comfortability with all things clinical and medical. I adore the elderly and have experience with Alzheimer patients and those with dementia. I'm a happy person and try to bring that to my clients everyday.

Ever since freshman year in high school, I have always wanted to do something that related to the medical field. First it was orthopedics and then pharmacy. I did not know that my mind would change to care giver until my junior year. I took a health science technology class starting my junior year. It was a two year class. Junior year was more focused on anatomy and physiology and Senior year we got to decide which path we wanted to go down. I chose the LNA path. I have always wanted to help people and going towards this path seemed like a sure-fire way to get there. I loved doing my clinicals at the two nursing homes near my school. It was an amazing experience. Knowing that I can help someone get through their day a little easier meant the world to me. Almost six years after graduating high school, I am still doing what I love and taking care of the people that need it the most.

I started out caregiving while caring for my grandmother about 15 years ago. The time we spent together was a wonderful bonding experience and I wanted to continue with that feeling of accomplishment I get when helping someone and knowing I am making a positive difference in their lives.

I have Over25years experience as a caregiver for Seniors+kids+ disabled .I'm Christian+ patient...I hope I can live in for atleast 1 year commitment this way is much safer, I took my nurse's aide class home health aide course teaching medical nutrition culinary arts+ CPR +lifeguarding course, so I have a lot of skills to help you ,I'm very safe I'm flexible if I live in I can help out with cooking laundry and accomplish much more progress? Becoming a Caregiver was out of necessity, to fulfill one woman's simple request of not being placed into a nursing home. She had had a challenging childhood: daily nourishment often was tea and bread; coats were used as blankets during the evening. She persevered during her marriage, raising a brood of children while being the dutiful wife. So, when called upon, it was an opportunity to give back. I have found that I have great resolve, have not floundered in my integrity, and have given care with compassion and kindness. In doing so, I have been greatly rewarded.

I am an extremely patient, and caring individual. I have always wanted to work in the health care field since I was a kid. I truly enjoy helping other people, and being able to make a difference in their lives. I always put myself in their shoes, so I can try to see how they feel in certain situations. I take care of my clients the way I would want someone else to take care of my family members. I love being able to take clients out of the house, even if it's just for a short walk or drive around town. I feel it's important for them to keep their independence for as long as they can. I can't imagine doing anything else for a career. I take my job seriously, but have a fun, bubbly, outgoing personality.

I first started caregiving when I was 17. My first job was for glorias helping hands. At first i wasnt sure about how i felt about the type of work. I didnt have much experience as to what i was doing. I took some classes and got my rcs1 and crma first. Rcs1 is a residential care specialist and a CRMA is a certified residential medical assistant. As i learned more and worked more I realized that is was my passion to help others who may need some assistance in things they can no longer do. Honestly u really do have to have a passion for this type of work because u never know what could happen or what situation u may end up in. And some of the disabilities, and some health issues can be challenging. Ive been very lucky to continue and have worked and learned various disabilities, as well as illnesses. Today i have my rcs1, pss,cna, and also insulin certified, cpr certified, and first aid certified. I love knowing that I'm making a difference and im helping and am there for someone who needs some support and help in their life.
