Well, i would first like to introduce myself, my name is Jasmine Joseph. I Am 32 years old. I've been in the healthcare industry since before i could even remember! My passion for making sure that everyone around me is taken care of and in good health not only physically but mentally and emotionally as well. I grew up in a very loving home, working under my mother's In-home daycare growing up, i knew when i was taking care of the infants and toddlers that taking care of people was a passion that i've always had. I've had many clients within the last ten years of my life working from Independent living Resources, to the Opportunity center. I've like to say that i come in and completely change these client's lives for the best. I Love being granted the ability to strengthen their minds, and prolong their lives as much as possible, and i hope to get the chance to do that for a family member of yours.

I am very patient, and understanding. I love to interact with people and have a knack for getting along with all types of people. I enjoy getting to know people and being able to make a difference in people's lives. I am drawn to caregiving because my mom and 3 aunts were all nurses and I enjoyed learning things from them. I always wanted to be in the health care field in some way or another. I enjoy helping people and knowing that I am able to give to others. I am proud to be a wife and Mother of 5 children, one of which is disabled.

I have volunteered and done clinical work in many nursing homes. I am familiar working with elderly who have disabilities and mental disorders. I am very kind and patient. When one loses their independence that can be the scariest thing, I have much experience with this and want to make your family and family member as comfortable as possible. I have experience with hospice care. I currently am CPR and first aid certified I received my med tech license this year to be able to administer medications.

Some personality traits that make me a great caregiver are: I'm caring, compassionate, detail oriented, good decision maker, friendly and easy to get along with. I enjoy being a caregiver because I enjoy the warm and comforting feeling of helping others and making a difference in not only their life but the families life as well! What I'm most proud of about being a caregiver is the love I've been able to give and receive. For me this isn't just a job, it's an opportunity to enlarge your family and be given the opportunity to help your family members by caring for them.
