I've been a caregiver for more than 30 years. I care about people and I feel like God has given me a gift. I love to talk so I pretty much can get a patient to try must things that a family member can't get them to to to. I love to read and interact with them if it's just a game cards.

First and foremost you must understand this is just not any job. This is someone's family member. I very much enjoy working with older people they still have much to offer the younger generation. My first visit was with an neighbour. She would let me take out her trash weekly from then on it progressed. Since then I have been in and out the field for 20 years. My mother introduced me to the nursing home field at the age of 14 and loved working and helping persons that need help . I love taking care of people that need help it makes me happy to be able to help them and see the smile in their face when I help them . I have over 20 years experience working with senior person in their homes , nursing homes and assisted living homes . I am a former certified nurse aide currently registered on the Texas Nurse aide registry in good standing

I am a thoughtful and kind caregiver with 2 years experience working with clients who are not mobile. My job duties have included transferring using a hoyer lift, assisting with toileting, light housekeeping (making beds, laundry, and meal prep), and companionship.
