I am a Christian first and foremost with a love for people that surpasses most. I absolutely love people, especially the elderly and have cared for them over 30 years. I have been a CNA for 30 +years. Ten or more of those years as a Caregiver, also. I have experience in long-term and short-term care. I have training in home health, hospice, palliative care, private sitter, and companion care. I work as a attendant now with At Home Healthcare, United Healthcare and a Diamond Professional Caregiver with CareLinx. I've taken the academy classes with CareLinx so I could refresh my skills. I have passed my background screening and I am CPR certified, too. I enjoy working with seniors because some of them have lived some adventurous lives. My greatest achievement is making a difference in their lives and they tell you so. When your day is over you know you have done your best. You can look up and smile.

I am a caring, empathetic caregiver. I took care of my Mother for 15 years as her primary caregiver, taking her to her appointments, shopping and assisting her at home. I also helped take care of my Mother-In-law when she was diagnosed with lung cancer. I worked for Jordan's Home Health Care for 5 1/2 years as a caregiver for an elderly gentlemen . I have experience with him as a patient who was able to ambulate and later as a patient who was wheelchair bound. I cleaned his home, did laundry, swept and mopped, prepared his evening meals, picked up his medicine and shopped for his groceries. I enjoy seeing my clients having a good day.

Hello my name is Sandra Betance. I worked at a nursing facility for 20 years mostly in the Alzheimer's unit. I was a CNA and a household coordinator and was very involved with all types of indoor and outdoor activities. Such as taking residents to the park, bowling, fishing, movies, bus rides, bingo, group exercise, beauty shop, dancing, and many others. I also worked at a hospital as a Patient Care Technician for a little over two years. I monitored their blood pressure, temperature, pulse, oxygen level, and blood sugar several times a day. I also assisted them with bathroom use, bathing, dressing and changing their linen. I describe myself as a professional, dependable, compassionate, trustworthy and responsible person. I've been working with seniors and patients of all ages. It makes me happy knowing that I do something for them that will make them feel better.
