Hello, My name is DeAnna. I have been in the line of health care for 13 years, working in nursing homes as a state Certified Nurses Aide as well as in private homes as a Home Health Aide. I have worked with many various ailments both mental and physical. I specialize in rehabilitation, Alzheimer's/Dementia, and skilled nursing/hospice. I love knowing that I am making a positive difference in someone's life! I also own and operate a senior care and service company. I have a great group of girls that were my co-workers until I decided to make my own business. Our caregivers range from Companions to C.N.A's and I am looking into to hiring a nurse to join our team. I actively work as a cargiver within my company and make minimal profit off hours I dont personally work as a care giver. What this means is I have well paid aides who enjoy working for/with me and I can take the burden of hiring and scheduling cargivers off your shoulders. We have on call aides to fill in should anything unexpected come up for a caregiver so you need not ever worry about someone not coming. I also carry liability insurance on myself as well as my fellow caregivers and they are my employees which means they are covered under my disability, unemployment, and workmans comp if anything should happen. If you have any questions feel free to email me at SuperiorsentimentLLC@gmail.com or call/text (607)242-8830. I also have great refernces. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Thank you, DeAnna Thomas Caregiver/Owner At superior sentiment we take pride in the care we give and services we provide. We strive to improve the quality of life of everyone that we work with. Our staff consists of extensively trained, highly qualified caregivers who love making a difference in the lives that we touch.
I love people and love to provide and share love that was gifted to me by this life. Caring for others brings me joy and love. The best gift is to see others happy and smile, their eyes full of joy and happiness makes the best gift. I am proud that I was giving a gift of love and being able to share it with this world and other humans. Much Love.
I'm 1 of 6 kids so have plenty of experience with children & love animals. The reason I am looking to take up care work is that with live in options it allows me to travel & meet people from all aspects of life. I've had to take care of family members in the past so have little experience on a professional scale but am pretty outgoing as well as a fast learner who will help to the best of my ability.
I absolutely love being able to help people. I am friendly and enjoy company. I have worked with kids for years and have done lots of care with them. I recently started working with adults who have down syndrome, autism, and other mental disabilities and have fallen in love with the work.
I would be a great caregiver for your loved one because I enjoy caring for the elderly. I always Come to work with a smile on my face. I bring a calming and caring atmosphere with me, letting your loved one know I'm here for them and whatever they need. I truly enjoy seeing my clients happy and doing things in life that they thought they couldn't do anymore. For me, my job is my passion and I never stop doing it. I don't work 9-5, I'm here 24/7 whenever I'm needed, whether that's 8am or 2 am.
Caregiving is not easy, and hiring someone to care for your loved ones is challenging. I saw the struggle while working with my hospice patients and families, and later experienced it firsthand while caring for my elderly grandmother. My goal is to give you comfort and peace of mind. I am available overnights and some weekends, depending on acuity and location.
Skills & Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN)
I learned a lot about caregiving by caring for my aunt during the last 1 1/2 years of her living with Alzheimer's disease. I believe families are incredibly blessed to be able to care for family members are home, but I also know it is challenging at times and requires teamwork. I believe helping a family care for someone in their home is rewarding and can be a rich experience. I enjoy offering support in such an endeavor.
Hi! My name is Alicia DeSilva, I live in a small town called Franklin. I am a very bubbly and social individual who is always looking for a new challenge. At age 10 I was taking care of my little sister full time as my mother worked the night shift and my father left very early mornings. It was my parents that taught me how truly appreciative people are of devoting your time and energy to helping others. By age 13 I spent two months with my grandmother in Rochester where she worked with individuals who suffered from mental disabilities. My grandmother taught me that a little patience and a lot of compassion and understanding goes a long way. Caregiving gives me a sense of self fulfillment, instead of waiting for everyone else to start giving, I love to take initiative and devote myself to giving. I think that the appreciation and the smile that people wear on their faces when you've helped them are the most gratifying things that you will come across in life.
