I'm Honest and God fearing. I'm proud to say that I took care of my patients with Dignity and Love. I'm treating them like my own family. Honestly this career is not fun it's too stressful and underpaid but if you put your heart on it eventually you'll be ok.

Caregiver

Dr. Mark Leder

May 2018 - Nov 2018

I started as a Personal Assistant or Companion as what other people's call it. My Patient has a Dymentia and 19 brain tumors. When I started working with their Dad his was still able mobile. Basically what I'm doing for him was to bring him to his Dr. appointments and Cancer treatments. After 2 months his condition changed and I'm starting to be a caregiver for him. It was not a n easy job for me because Dad as what I called him was independent and in denial about his Condition. My patience was tested big time on those months that I've work for Dad. I was about to quit after being kick out of the house 5 times when his dymentia's attacks. But I stayed and took it as a challenge. I took care of Daddy with love and dignity and treated him like my own Dad. Sad to say he passed away last Thanksgiving. I'm thinking of not doing a caregiver job again because I was so attached by Dad even though I was underpaid for 24hrs of Service because I was a stay in Caregiver. I basically did all what a Caregiver Job description is supposed to be and more. Anytime you could contact the family and asked them about me. ... more
