Being a caregiver is one of the good decisions of my life, since I cared for my mom till she passed, I found compassion in caring for people to feel better, which then again gives me certain type of happiness. The fact that I put smiles on the faces of people makes being a caregiver a pleasant one to be. The most greatest achievement I have obtained during my service is trust, and I am proud to say so, because without trust what is the purpose of being a caregiver. I am a 34yrs with kids , and lots of experience as a caregiver. I can say so because I have been in this business for 12 yrs, and I have numerous reference to provide if needed.

I am a fifty two year old, college educated, married mother of two, with a strong work ethic. I am detail oriented, organized, and have a high standard for cleanliness. I am very willing to complete housekeeping tasks. Professionally, I have worked with intellectually disabled individuals. When I returned to employment after our son began school. I had a desire to provide Senior Care. I enjoy assisting Senior's remain living in their homes. I consider myself to be patient and nurturing. I enjoy interacting with people and desire to help people who are in need of assistance. Whether it be companionship, meal preparation, or more involved with personal ADL's, i.e. bathing etc. Helping a person remain in their home, as opposed to residing in a nursing facility is something that I want to be involved in. I have worked with family members who have had a variety of health issues i.e. diabetes, emphysema, COPD, and hearing impairments. My mother had a double lung transplant and I assisted in her care. I would not necessarily consider this a personal achievement that I am proud of. Rather, thankful that as a single woman at the time, I pursued adoption. At that time my daughter was 8 yrs old. She is now 22 yrs!
