I became a caretaker, because I like the feeling it gives me, and the person I' m helping . I enjoy getting to know the person I'm taking care of and spending time with them.. I achieved my associates degree in medical specialties this helps me in understanding and helping the person I take care of. I am compassionate dedicated hard working and honest person, who believes in just because people get older doesn't mean they need less help. They may need more as I have found out taking care of my one clients who has had a stroke and a heart attack. Who has been my inspiration seeing her over coming so many obstacles and finding new ones she now has to over come, but still continues to move along. I attended college getting my associates degree because I found that no matter what job I held. I always found my self wanting to help others. I will be finishing my degree soon and getting my mna, so that someday in the future I can work my up to a hospital environment.

I met with my client in her home. I assisted her in getting out of bed in the morning by gently lifting her until she was sitting up. I then help her up to her walker and to the breakfast table I made her breakfast and assisted her with her meds and oxygen. After breakfast I assisted her to the bathroom for a shower if needed that day after I would help her get dressed and assist her to the living room where I would end my day by giving her water and coffee and her container of meds she would need for the rest of the day. I would the do some light housekeeping and then end my day
