I went home to take care of my father, as his daughter. After spending time and caring for my dad I found out about amber care and hospice the staff showed me how to take care and learn about his illness. what I like was that it taught me to understand about what elderlies go through as they get older. it showed to be more responsible for the jobs that came along with taking care of my father. Taking on the tasks that I've never had to do, and learning how to successfully achieve them, was one of my biggest achievements throughout the whole process. I'm one of 15 siblings that my parents had. I live in Rio Rancho N.M with my husband and daughter. I've been employed with Walmart now for 5 years. My last child is a senior this year and will be turning 18. After losing my mom and dad I feel like I need to do more. My husband is 62 and I am 53 we both have raised 4 children and with my husband getting older I feel the need to take care of both of us financially at the same time spend as much time with him as possible. After losing my parents and having to go to court, fighting for my fathers rights and belongings, while seeing from my own siblings what they can do to our parents during the time that they need us the most was very hurtful knowing that our parents raised us with respect and manners. they were there for all of us no matter how big or small the problem was.
