I am patient and highly compassionate, hard working, flexible, bilingual, trustworthy caregiver, experienced in home and hospital settings. I have been a caregiver for ten plus years and enjoy taking care of people. Over the years I have had many different jobs and only stuck with them for a little while until I got into caregiving. I enjoy taking care of people it gives me a sense of worth and satisfaction in my life. I enjoy meeting new people and making them comfortable and happy when they are ill or not.

My mother was a don of a nursing home when I was a child and I'd go into work with my mother and she'd introduce me to everyone there and I'd help take care of people and do activies with them I must have been 9/1oyears old but I loved it so I started doing activity block with them and as I got older i got into being a nurses aide and here I am still interested in working for clients so I have a lot of experience and I'm very interested in working for you my husband now helps me so you get two for cost of one he use to work in a hospital for people with disabilities before we moved here from Indiana I hope to hear from you soon thank you

I have been in home care for 26+ years. I did my training in upstate New York. Moved back to New Mexico in the late 90s and have been in home care sense. I love working /assisting people in daily activity's. It gives me pride to see my clients smile and laugh. Means even more to know I helped to for fill their desires of what needs to be done to make each visit a successful pleasant day knowing they will be content to relax everything has been done. Seeing the self accomplishment in their smile is more than a pay check to me. My clients become my friend, and a second family to me. A smile is worth a million words. Hello, I have just recently moved to the Albuquerque area from Missouri. I am currently working on my certification for Medical Billing & Coding, as long with Certified Medical Administrative Assistant. I know some may think this is boring, but for me I grew up in a home of medicine. My mom is a Certified Medical Assistant, phlebotomist and is currently working toward becoming an office manager. During my senior year of house school, she feel in. She was having seizures & mini strokes & medical teams couldn't figure out what was causing it. We were given two options during her hospital stay: one, she go into assisted living oor we get a home nurse for her. At this time, I had decided to take on the role as a home nurse. You see my mom was able to do somethings on her own, but not everything. I began the process of doing homebound from high school. I would cater to my moms every need while finishing up my senior year. I would balance school work with helping her take care of herself & the household chores. (Leaving the rest of this story open for the interview.) A part of me wishes it would have stopped during my senior year. But I soon realized that I was made for helping people out. Those from all walks of life. Sometimes we just need someone there. Someone to keep us company or to help conquer life's everyday challenges. Or even to cheer us up when we are having a rough day. Some would see caring for others as a daunting task. I find peace & joy from it. Brings a smile to my face seeing them accomplish something they never thought they would be able to.
