I am Christian woman. I am 45 years old. I enjoy being able to help make someone have a better quality of life. I have compassion for people who can no longer take care of things they used to.I became a caregiver because I believe that I am able to help a person who is in need of a loving and caring person who helps with anything they need. It brings me satisfaction to help people and take care of their basic needs.
I am a outgoing and precise caregiver, making sure everything gets done effectively. I enjoy helping others and having positive impact on them. I like doing this because I have experience caring for my father who was dealing with dialysis, diabetes, and heart problems and my grandmother in her older age. I enjoy most helping others creating relationships that are meaningful to both sides through care taking.
I am an experienced caregiver (Prior CNA I) with 3 years of experience working as a CNA/Caregiverand 7 years of volunteering experience. I let my CNA I licensure lapse but I plan to complete the testing and become re-certified. I have been certified in CPR and First Aid. I also have references if needed.
1. I originally became a CNA for my grandma, hoping to care for her. 2. I like that I can be a part of someone's life and impact them in a uplifting, friendly way. Being in their life is important to me, if I can make them smile at least once then I know I've done my job. 3. I'm moving out on my own after saving up. 4. I am a hard worker, I always do what I'm told, but I am one that is quiet and shy.
Hello! My name is Makayla. I have been a CNA for about 2 years. I love caring for others and helping the elderly. I chose to be a caregiver because I have always wanted to be a nurse growing up and being a CNA helps with hands on care. I'm currently in college for Occupational Therapy!

Skills & Certifications: Certified Nursing Assistant
My name is Kadisha. I am a veteran from the Air Force Reserve. Before that, I was an Administrative Assistant for 7 years at various facilities, privately owned by a family. During that time, I put in volunteer hours with the activities' staff to ensure the residents had plenty of activities to fill their days. I currently work at a hotel in Boone as a Front Desk Reservationist. I work primarily mornings but cover evening and overnight shifts occasionally. I've always had compassion for caring for others as if they were my own family. I like the fact that I can provide companionship and care to someone I can also listen to and learn new things from. As far as my experience goes, I would say I've also had 7 years experience in caregiving, due to the fact that I've worked in a setting in which the elderly reside and were at times, asked to assist in a capacity outside of my job description, i.e. accompanying someone to the restroom or assisting with a wheelchair transfer. I never minded either of these things because they were always needing to be done in order to help someone. A personal achievement that I am very proud of, is serving my country. That was something I always thought of doing and I finally did it. Once I joined, I knew that I could do anything. I could put my mind, skills and what I've learned from the military into any and every aspect of my life!
