1. I became a Caregiver when I was a young girl at the age of seven. I helped my great grandmother when she broke her hip at age seventy five. I helped her with physical therapy, medication, and meeting her many needs. Later on when I was flying for Delta Airlines as a flight attendant, my grandmother was diagnosed with cervical cancer. Every chance I had when I was not flying, I would help take care of all her needs. She lived for a few more years after the diagnosis, and it meant so much to me to be there for her during this time. 2. I love giving and doing for others by caring for them doing their time of need. It makes me feel like a true Christian to care for others in this way. It affects my inner soul that I am indeed doing God's work in this regard. I really love caring for others and I prove that every day with my friends and family. 3. I am proud that I have been married for almost twenty five years and have two wonderful children. It takes a lot of sacrifice, hard work, and understanding to have a great marriage and raise your children the right way. I love being a wife, mother, and the best Caregiver to them I can be. 4. As mentioned above, I am married with two beautiful children. I worked for Delta Airlines for thirteen years and taught preschoolers part time at a Church School for another fifteen years. I am college educated, CPR and First Aid Certified, and hard working. Based on my life experiences taking care of my great grandmother and grandmothe

I became a caregiver because I absolutely love helping take care of people. It makes me feel good about myself and helps me know that im not a selfish person and don't care about only my health, but other peoples as well. I'm personally proud that I don't mind to get my hands dirty working as a CNA because we all know, it can get pretty rough! But i absolutely love it and wouldn't change my career choice for the world!
My daughter is getting old enough now that I can get back out to work. I have always loved caring for other! I always looked at it like take care of other as you would want others to take care of your family! I'm extremely organized, clean and absolutely patient with any amount of work I'm given.
I've been labeled a Caregiver all of my life. Between family, friends and patients this is the one thing that truly brings me joy. I firmly believe that what you give in this life is what you'll get. One day I'll need someone to help me and I hope to be treated with the same love and respect that I myself gives. It warms my heart each day I go to work and someone is happy to see me. This type of work isn't for just anyone. You have to have a heart for this. Growing older should not be something we despise because it's a privilege denied to so many. Thank-You for taking the time to read my profile.
I have Always felt a strong connection with the elderly when my grandma had a massive stroke and I stepped Up and helped my family take Care of her. I am a great people person I can Talk to anyone and am very friendly. The thing I enjoy Most about being a caregiver is just putting a smile on their face when others can't or when they don't have much family.
Skills & Certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
I have worked as a missionary for 30 years. My husband and our 2 young boys also lived overseas in the early 80's. Being a missionary you learn to listen to people, empathize with them and try to help where you can. Before I worked as a missionary, I was a caregiver with a hospital in Rockledge, FL. I enjoyed getting to know the patients I had, listening to their life stories and learning from them. I'm 63 so I'm not a young thing anymore but I'm healthy and am looking for a change from my previous work. I've always enjoyed older people! I'm so thankful the for the life God has blessed me with and the things that He has allowed me to accomplish. Especially traveling the world and meeting so many people from different cultures and learning so much about each culture.
