Hello there my name is Alyssa I am a mom and a wife. I have been a caregiver off and on for a few years. I helped take care of my grandfather while he was battling his illness. I am friendly and polite. I have been trained in CPR and taken courses for in home care. I have had clients that are wheelchair bound and others that just need some light house cleaning. I am comfortable with showering/bathing and cooking or cleaning . I can transfer to and from appointments if need be. I have always been one to want to help others and I really enjoy the company of elders and cheering people up. I feel a big reward in helping others and making their day just a little happier. I really enjoy the work environment and getting to see smiles on people's faces.

My passion is working with the elderly. I am honored by the families that put their trust in me to care for their loved one who may be on the final path of their life requiring Home Hospice care. or is at that point in their lives where assistance is needed in order to continue staying in their home, being as independent as possable, staying safe. My commitment for each and every person is to provide them with companionship, assistance with physical needs and whatever else they need, whether it's writing a letter for them, or baking their favorite cookies, straightening out closet shelves or holding their hand, reading a book to them or just sitting quietly with them. I believe it is ao important to pocess tthe traits that are important in caregiving which are flexibility, willingness to sit still when you notice its what the person you are caring for needs. Paying attention is very important. A caregiver cannot just "be there" I keep logs in order to ensure the Doctor and nurses and family are notified of ANY changes such as skin color, urine intake/out take, bathroom habits, signs of weakness, facial changes, depression/mood changes. If bedridden, log needs to include turning times, any skin breakdown issues, A good caregiver needs to go outside the box, be willing to do what otherwise might be uncomfortable, be drama free. Assisting the family is one of the things that helps them know who I am and relieves some of the stress from their lives. By helping doing even the smallest of details, yardwork, cleaning a garage etc. I promise you that I will make the same commitment to respect, never diminish their dignity and do all I can to provide the stability, comfort your loved one deservesI I did not become a Caregiver to change the dynamics of lives. but to be there to make them feel safe, healty and secure. Compassion goes a long long way.

I have been a caregiver for over 8 years, I worked for a Senior Care Center for a little while before moving to South Lake Tahoe in 1989, as a CNA, I had 2 daughters and put my career on hold to raise them. I worked in a medical office for 5 years prior to taking off 3 months to care for my terminally ill sister. It was then that I realized caring for others was my calling. I quit my corporate job and started my caregiving career. I have always had a special love for the elderly community. Bringing a smile to their face and giving someone love is just so rewarding and fulfilling. I am loyal and very trustworthy and very hard working. I can't wait to meet your love one.

Caring about others well being makes you a good caregiver candidate. I was my dads caregiver and grandmas caregiver. Then decided to do it for a job. I listen to clients needs, and concerns. I love people! I'm Now. CNA but still love working in peoples home setting!

I am proud to help and assist people with tasks such as grooming, feeding and bathing. I enjoyed taking care of people and helping what they needed. Also, I'm a good listener if they want to talk to me. I aspire to gain experience, expand my knowledge and skills while providing compassion to each individual with dignity, passion, and responsibility.

I'm FILIPINO Asian how love to take care our Elders. With tender love and care with them. I'm always what's to have a happy and wonderful day with the Elders. Take care of them and keep them clean , safe contented and happy. To make them comfortable and satisfied every day.

I feel like I'm a great caregiver because. I'm loyal and I believe they deserve the best, I have always had a passion to make others happy and enjoy life a step and a day at a time. I love to hear there stories about life, Bathing them and making them feel clean, and good about them self. Taking them out and spending time and getting things done .

The reasons I would make a good caregiver is because I have dealt with people in my life who have had health issues. I am a caring person who wants to make people happy and I want to see people well taken care of. My person achievement that I am most proud of is that I was able to get my AA degree. It took time but I finished it.
