I became a caregiver to supplement my retirement. Caregiving has become a fully time endeavor. I have worked for HomeInstead Senior Care in Slidell, Louisiana for three years. The training assisted me tremendously in caring for my own parents. Both of my parents died in 2013, leaving me free to return to Las Vegas. Care giving is a great departure from my life long career in the construction industry. I started by studying architecture, serviced four years in the Corpse of Engineers (Army), worked as an estimator and project managers during 70-80's, became a contractor in Las Vegas, and did a short ten months as a security officer at the Saint Tammany Jail Work Release Program. I love caring for senior men and hope to service clients in the Las Vegas Valley for many years.
