I don't ever say, \"that's not my job\" but instead I like pitching in to do whatever is needed. I like making someone smile and doing little things to make a person's day better.
I am a great caregiver because I love caring for others. I used to work in corporate america and it paid well but was not very rewarding. This half of my life I would like to give something back to the world. My parents and grandparents were in need of CNA & PCA help as they aged and my family were the caregivers to them. Seeing them not able to care for themselves made me realize that one day this could be me. I would like to keep my dignity even if I am disabled or whatever the case may be. I learned that caring for someone requires a great deal of patience and thoughtfulness. Doing this type of job for the money will carry you through for about one minute. I am very proud that I went back to college to attain a 2nd degree, my RN degree and still am in the process of achieving this.
