Im a great caregiver because I have empathy and compassion. I care about the people I care for and do what I can to help them with my greatest abilities. I became a caregiver due to my grandmothers background. My grandmother was a caregiver for around 40 years and whenever I could, I would travel with her to the clients house and the bond between my grandmother and her patients made me want to become a caregiver myself. I enjoy the interactions and memories that I create with my patients, I love feeling that I am a part of their family, just like I include them into mine. A personal achievement that I am proud of is taking the steps to take part in caring for other people in need. Not a lot of people understand how great it is to feel someone rely on you and need you. And the special bond with clients is a great bonus!
