I choose to become a caregiver because my late grandmother used to be abused before she past due to the unethical behavior of many CNA's that were hired to take care of her. I want to make a difference in the lives of the elderly and protect them from those that do not take care of their patients as they should. I love to make them happy and feel comfortable on a regular basis. Just because they are unable to care for themselves as they once did doesn't mean that they are less of a person or should be treated any different. I am proud to say that caring for the elderly can at times be challenging but I am able to follow through and make sure that I go above and beyond for my patients and make them smile and I enjoy working with the elderly. It really does bother me when I see someone being mistreated so the more that I can be their for the better for all. We all have a purpose in life and my purpose is to be a caregiver.
