I generally love to care for others. I have very good transportation with full coverage auto insurance.
Hi My name is Suzette and I am a dedicated caregiver to the older adults. deeply committed to treating my older clients with dignity and respect. My skills assist me in boosting their morals and to maintain their dignity even in times of distress, my goal is to win their trust and make them feel less discomfort when needing assistance with bathing, toileting, dressing and grooming or other personal care. I have over seven years experience caring for Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Dementia, Strokes, bed bond, and Hospice care. It can be challenging at times, but I truly enjoy working with the older adults. Though I try to make a difference in their lives, the lessons I have learned, makes a lasting impact. I am Compassionate, loving, kind, Trustworthy, with a beautiful personality. And though I do not drive I do used Public transportation, Lyft and Uber.
What makes me a great caregiver is that I have the patience and understanding that we all need help in some type of way. I have been a caregiver for 19 years in every capacity. I have worked with the mentally ill, psychiatric and geriatric population. I also know that it is not for everyone, but I know its rewarding. What I am most proud of is that I have held the same job for 19 years and counting. I have a caring heart, and I am humble enough to understand that in every walk of life, you have to be kind and remember that one day you can be in that person's shoes, so humility is one of my strengths.
I am dependable, compassionate and reliable to crown it all I am dedicated to my patients! They come first . I became a care give to give to others what I could not give to my late mother, helping people that needs help is my passion. The thing I enjoy most being a caregiver is seeing my patients getting better. It gives me joy and it make me happy.

I was first influenced in becoming a caregiver at the age of fourteen. Unfortunately, my great grandmother was diagnosed with cancer and at a young age I willingly cared for her. I enjoy being a caregiver because I believe something that you have been doing habitually for years becomes something that you love. I have four children and five beautiful grandchildren that I exceptional care for and love. Additionally I have been taking care of and assisting in the needs of the elderly, and that has also become something that I love. A personal acheivement, or rather a few, that I am proud of is being able to assist when someone that I am caring for is relying on me the most. Unfortunately, I have witnessed losing a few people in my lifetime, recently including my grandmother. I feel in the most compassionate way proud of being there for her when she was sent off to heaven. These are moments that we wish didn't have to occur but these moments are evident and I feel blessed to be a part of that. I will like to conclude by saying that this is just not a career for me, it is my instincts and I would be more than honored to be a part of your organization.
My level of expertise is like no other; Effortlessly, I always go above and beyond for my clients. Ever since the age of five years old when my Mom asked me what I wanted to become and my answer was "Mom, I want to be a Doctor because I want to take care of old people and I love them" and of course she laughed. Years later I ended up in numerous occupations, but at the end I found my way back to nursing (smile)- Need I say more? It gives me great pleasure to listen to the elderly. Moreover, their stories are precious and rare each unique experience that "cannot" be replaced (priceless commodity) and most importantly the joy and knowledge it gives me deep within (humbled). Looking back on all my choices I can honestly say that I have no regrets; Especially, since it has mold my life and made me who I am today. My mother would have been proud of me when I achieved my licensed (CNA) and knowing that it does not stop there since I was already enrolled in a nursing program in College and eventually I will go back since I took a long break after she passed. In conclusion, I love what I do and work for me is (never) work since my passion is caring for the elderly (smile)-
