I am not available to serve anymore clients at this time, I have five individuals and that's enough. Thank you! I became interested in the healthcare field while serving as a missionary in Guatemala where I worked with poor people living in the mountains, garbage dumps, and street children hooked on glue. Many times after serving I would come home crying because of the plight of the people I served but I love reaching out to help others and served for four years. Here in New York City at one time I also worked with homeless people living in shelters and in the parks. I have worked in nursing homes in Florida and in homecare in New York City. I love being a caregiver, impacting humanity in a positive way as I help to improve and maintain health. Each and every individual that I serve is important to me and I treat him/her with respect, and dignity. I am a hard worker, patient, kind hearted, honest, and reliable. I attended college and the knowledge and skills I received in school have equipped me with the means to better care for clients. I have cared for clients on ventilator, G-tube feeding, trache, and foley catheter. I have assisted with meal preparation, laundry, and housekeep. I do not drive, I don't drink or use drugs. I'm a great caregiver because I would like the elderly to live as long as God intended them to live on this earth. Their independence is important and to make them feel needed is even greater. I strive for all elderly I care for to make them feel loved needed and appreciated.
