I have been a certified Home health aide for over 17 years. I have worked in different care settings throughout my career, which shows I am able to adapt to my surroundings and able to provide different levels of care. I have for the past 11 years worked specifically with Alzheimer's/Dementia patients in doing such I have developed an immense level of patience and a better understanding of the disease. I have also acquired the proper training and skills sets to accommodate those with the disease. I have helped and provided care to residents/clients in their process of transitioning (passing on) and aided families/friends in those difficult times. I am very compassionate person with great work ethics. I try and be the ears for my residents/clients when they have no one to talk to and the sound for the ones who can't express their selves. I love what I do. I like that I am able to make a difference and make life a little bit smoother in my clients elder years.
