I am a Registered Nurse of 27 years experience. I am not currently working as a nurse because they require a 4 year
college degree. The nursing school I went to was a hospital program, giving me a Diploma, no college credits. I have
completed 3 yrs. of college but need to work at a lower level at this time. I have many years of experience working with people in all aspects. I was a nursing assistant for 4 yrs. before becoming an RN. I know every thing about taking care of clients needs, their personal hygiene, dressing, taking them for walks or whatever they like to do in
their usual routine. I am a good listener, and can engage in whatever they like to talk about. I will make sure they take their medication, and attend doctor visits as needed. Most importantly I am aware to be securing their safety at all times. In my many years working with people, the most important thing to them is to be in their home, in their
own routine, being in control of what they are use to, having me shadowing them their meals to their personal liking, cleaning their home. I am a great listener, for whatever, concerns them to talk about. I am there to fit into their daily routine routine, so they can go on with how they want their routine to be keep their independence.
