I'm very empathy and compassion. By showing both empathy and compassion is a way to let the person know that I care about them and I can whatever it takes to help them. Some of the best traits I thank God for giving me as a caregiver is the fact that I have patience, I'm very trustworthy, I'm dependable. What really attracted me to being a caregiver is the fact that I like doing work that has potential to make a difference in someone's life and I also I enjoy taking care of elderly because I used to take care of my grandmother and grandfather before they passed always and I used to enjoy it. I like the fact that I'm able to help my clients with all my heart and I'm always willing to do whatever it takes to make them feel welcome with me and smile. 4 years ago I used to take care of a patient and she suffered from seizure so she usually had seizure regularly and i never negligence leaving her by herself. As a result, I usually with her and I always make sure that she sits somewhere that I can see her. And I always make sure she sits in a sofa somewhere low and not too high for her. Unfortunately she ended up in the nursing home because of her health condition so I would usually go and see her. What makes me proud is the fact that before she passed away she was actually talking about people that she loves and her daughter told me that I was one of them.
