About Trisha

I have always enjoyed helping people and making them smile. I have worked in various fields from education to retail, as well as with various age groups, and the common thread has always been my desire to be of service to others. The aspect that I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is helping those who are not in the position to help themselves. It is very rewarding knowing that my time is spent helping someone's day to be lived in the most comfortable environment possible. I am most proud of getting accepted in to the nursing program at the college I attend. It is a very competitive program to get into, and intensive to stay into. I will complete my RN program in 2016. One thing about myself that should be noted is my compassion. In an industry where peoples happiness and comfort is basically in your hands, as a caregiver I think compassion is one of the most important traits you can possess. It is not enough to do this line of work simply because you are qualified to do so. It is important that the people who do this line of work get their reward from the joy that they bring to others.
