I became a caregiver because I wanted to help make a difference in quality of life for those that needed help. I find it very rewarding when I know I am able to emotionally and physically support someone that is not able to do things on their own whether it be to help wash, dress, assist to medical appointments, shopping cleaning or just providing companionship.
