I have been a Home Health Worker over twenty years. I am a Mental Health Technician and have experience with Dementia, Depression, Anxiety etc... I am reliable, patient, gentle, hardworking and have a good sense of humour. I have always enjoyed working with seniors . I love the movies, music and fashion of the thirties and forties. I enjoy peoples histories and stories. Besides the technical skill set and experience of being in Home Health; over the years I have learned to perfectly set hair, give a great shave, manicure, play a fierce game of scrabble and make a real cuppa tea [not a bag] A personal achievement I am proud of is participating in Aids Walk New York ten years in a row. I love animals. I'm a nonsmoker and cannot be around smoke. Salary is negotiable.

I believe I am a kind, gentle, patient and compassionate caregiver. I've been taking care of my mother since I was four years old until she passed away in August of 2018. I am now taking care of my father who is suffering from Parkinson's Disease. I hope to become a nurse in the future but for now I would love to do what I am truly gifted at and that is taking care of others in need. I know that being a caretaker comes naturally to me. It brings me such joy being able to give others my assistance and comfort. I am proud of the time, love, support and dedication I gave to my mother. She was battling so many diseases and infections and it brought me inner peace knowing I was able to comfort her during those difficult times so she could relax and let her body heal. I can't think of anything else I would want to do with my life than to comfort and aid those who are in need of care.

I became a care giver because I have a passion and a love to care for people that are in need. From all the experience I had through out the years one of the things I liked about my Job is that I get to hear the clients stories, they like to tell their life stories and express themselves. We laugh, we cheer, and it gives me a chance to show them appreciation and encouragement. I am a wife and a mother of three most of my life I have been caring for people even my own family. It is my heart desire to continue to extent my service of care to others and continue to love and encourage.
Hi I'm Natalie I am a currrent student at Long Island School of Nursing Assistant. I am a proud and compassionate caregiver. What attracted me to become a caregiver is the simple fact that we all need someone in our lifes to help assist and show compassion when in need. The most enjoyable part of being a caregiver is knowing that you can make a difference in someones life with e the smallest thing in life.
I have always worked in the medical field I have a very strong passion for patient care helping others always makes me feel good. I recently went back to school to become a respiratory therapist as I continue with my education I realize more and more just how much I truly love what I do loving my job and having such a great passion for it is what makes me great at what I do.
Through my experience as a nursing student, I've completed a year of clinical and have experience giving toileting, bathing, and hygiene care to patients in the hospital. I love interacting with people and helping those in need. It's a bright spot in my day to know that I'm making someone feel better. I have had the opportunity to be part of a medical team in Peru that gave care to approximately 5,000 patients in five days. My medical experience there has stretched me and inspired me to pursue a medical career and to meet the physical and emotional needs of others. I'm studying to become a nurse and would love a summer job that pertains to my medical career and experience. My experience also goes outside the hospital; I've helped my grandparents in the past who were ill and one who had cancer. I would love to have the experience of attending to those in need this summer.
Caring for others is something I have always enjoyed. As a Nurse and Teacher I have had the opportunity to care for many people. My patient and considerate personality , extreme dependability with vast life experiences , a Master degree and a sincere desire to do my best, always make me a great choice when considering care for a loved one.
When I was 18years old I decided to take the Home Health Aide classes I did it not because I wanted to but because I couldn't afford to go to college and I refused to work in a store or fast food place. I didn't think I would be good at it at all... here I am 31, 13 years later and I wouldn't trade my job for the world I absolutely love being an aide and especially a hospice aide the job is so rewarding. I provide excellent care and I do it with a smile.
I became a care giver back in 2004 where I began working for a large TBI agency. I assisted clients with their daily living activities and from then on, I just knew that caring for people who truly needed help was something I am passionate about. It is rewarding when you are praised and appreciated for all you do. This is something to be proud, knowing you wake up and make a difference in someone's life.
I'm a caring and compassionate person. People say I'm always smiling and happy. I have a great attitude and good disposition. I'm a hard worker, I'm respectful of other people and their property. I love to laugh, just a happy go lucky type of person. I get along well with other people, giving and receiving respect is very important to me. I gave received many compliments from my client's families. Year before last I worked for a client whose mother lives in Florida durning the winter months and NY in the summers. When her mother returned her daughter asked my job if I could work with her mother again. I care for, about and what happens to my client. In my free time I like spending time with my husband and my two dogs. I also like reading, gardening, watching tv, and going to the movies.
