A personal achievement of mine was when I went to school to be a home health aide and completed it. The whole experience was so uplifting . I was surrounded by like minded people that soon became my friends. We faced some happy days together and some challenges. Becoming a home health aide changed my life for the better it has put me on the right path. I love to wake up in the morning and know that I’m making a difference in someone else’s life . I’m an important part of someone else’s life. I help with bathing, dressing, grooming, and housekeeping. I’m a companion for people who need it the most. When I enter a clients home I enter there lives. Being a home health aide has opened my eyes to many new things. Every person that I take care of has a different world and different situation. I do get to see the world through different eyes. I can teach my clients new things and I always learn new things from them. Working in their home gives me a unique perspective. Its important for me to show the world every day that its important to be kind, loving, and strong. I know that I am part of the healing process. Along with my compassion, excellence, and reliability, I am a sense of normalcy, during what can be a very difficult time for people. I try my best to bring health and happiness into peoples lives. Doing this kind of work I do feel like I am ones of Gods helpers and Im fulfilling my purpose. I believe everyone in the healthcare industry is ones of Gods helpers. Caring for people and helping others lead healthy lives is satisfying and important. I have always wanted to work in the health care industry. Working in this industry is a dream come true.
