Assisting in the daily living of patients, showering, assist with getting in and out of bed, assist in eating.

Performs personal care for the comfort aeing of the patient, such as showers,mouth, skin and hair care. Feeds patients and records dietary intake. Measures and records intake and output. Records daily bowel function. Applies condom catheters. * Administers cleansing, fleet, and/or retention enema. Provides perennial and catheter care. Empties drainage device from body cavities and wounds. Maintains gastric suction. Assists with simple non-sterile dressing changes, Makes beds and changes linen. Performs PM care to include: back rubs, and assisting patients with elimination at bedtime. * Takes and records temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure. Obtains and records patient weight and height. * Turns and positions patients. Assists patients with transfers to bed, wheelchair, and stretcher. Assists with range of motion exercises. * Provides instructions to patients and family members according to approved protocols and/or the plan of care, under supervision. Adheres to principles of infection control. Identifies safety hazards and provides a safe environment for patients, visitors, and associates. * Maintains patient, physician, and staff confidentiality

Fill the designated “on-call” position for the family member.
