I have been a caregiver for a longtime. After taking care of my mother in her 80's she had dementia and Past away in April 2013 at 86. But for almost 4 years I was responsible for taking care of her and her home and her beautiful 1/2 acre yard and flowers. I also managed all her appointments and took care of her monthly bills. I prepared meals and helped with her bathing and Personal hygiene to list a few items. I am very caring and patient and positive and have wonderful sense of humor and kept her spirits high I came back to Las Vegas and my love for caregiving has continued taking care of special wonderful clients in their time of need as I'm self list and to assist in making others happier in their time of need is a blessing. To achieve giving a better quality of mind to others is my goal... I raised 3 great now adult children I married young 16 so am still young and blessed to be able to be active when I see my 5 Grandkids and 7 great Grandkids. I love my role as Nana and mom and especially Caregiver No one believes I'm retired and my age so I have lots of time to brighten someone in need of caregiver :). I smile all the time:) I walk 5 miles a day to stay physically fit

I am a caregiver, because I have compassion for elder people. I have taken care of Mr. Reid my friend and client for 8 years. where I have grown to understand the need that we will all face one day in our lives. I go to LDS church where there is employment for my profession, but I need to expand my experience with other avenues.
