I tthink I would be a great caregiver as I have great respect for seniors and stories of their life. I always felt they offered information on things I will never know.That is a gift. I decided to become a caregiver as I took care of my mother when she was getting older and it was a real source of pride for me, not always easy, as we are family, neverthless helping is a positive thing. I enjoy feeling needed, making someone's day just a little easier and it helps give mine purpose. My mother and myself had not been close, however my sisters in brother are in Florida, so I knew it would be me. My friends and my mother told me "Isn't stange that you andd your mom were not close...but when push came to shove you were the only one who would step in" Something I think I will remember all my life.
