I've been in the medical field for a little over 10 yes my whole family is care takers if not teachers. Even before I started pca work I will help my aunts at their jobs assisting with clean ups and preparation. I can honestly say the understanding and commitments of what I have for my patients. My dad passed away when I was seven and he was a hospice in my home and he lived his beautiful last year with the people he loved and I watched him deteriorate but he was loved and he didn't show much pain. Now that I've been in the medical field for a little over 10 years I know what is to be expected. My whole family is care takers if not teachers . Even before I started working as a PCA I would help out my aunts at their jobs assisting with clean ups and preparation. I can honestly say the understanding and commitments of what I have for my patients. I genuinely believe that when you give the proper care and nourishment your patient will be happy at all times especially if their own family doesn't have the time and dedication to give them. I am also in nursing school will be graduating in 2016 that's why a traveling job with my own schedule would be a great fit for me.

My first job, at age 10, was summer companion to my maternal grandmother. Working for the family matriarch required abundant labor (my grandmother was elderly), but the daily chores gave rise to an unexpected pleasure; I liked being responsible. For 12 lovely summers, I cleared the acorns from her croquet court, hiked to the store to buy her groceries, and delivered her (she did not drive) by rowboat to tea at the homes of neighbors. Within the formality of her cottage, I learned to be a responsible member of a household. And whether I felt like it or not, I learned to be good company. Still under my grandmother's spell, I have worked as a lady's companion and as a gentleman's secretary for more than 20 years. Although I am no longer gathering acorns, I accompany my employers on their travels, keep them company at cultural events, edit their memoirs, and teach them them how to draw and paint. I have found these employments to be congenial and remunerative. They give me great pleasure.
