Hello :) I have been a stay-at-home mother of two for the past 7 years. I have provided childcare out of my home for the past 4. While I love my job, I am looking to re-enter the work force outside of my home. I have Senior care in my past work history as well. I have been a companion caregiver and a CNA to the elderly as well as disabled. I have beaming references and am an extremely kind and professional person. I enjoy children and watching them learn and grow and believe that individual time should be spent with them. I enjoy talking to the elderly and hearing their stories from the past. Overall I am a very well-rounded caregiver because I can connect with people of all ages. I look forward to meeting you and your family, and for providing exceptional care.
what makes me a great caregiver is the fact that I put my whole heart and soul into what I do. I treat my patients like family, not like a job. I first started caregiving at the age of 16. My mother was a caregiver and I helped her. I knew then that this is what I wanted to do. I love being a caregiver because if I can give my best for them and care is always from my heart. All of my jobs have been with my clients to end of life care with Hospice involved. Knowing that someone is with them through it all . I believe my best care is with dementia and Alzheimer's I have a big interest in this and love working and taking care of them.

Hello, I just finished my bachelors degree at Saint Jospeh's College, and I have several months before my masters program begins. I have experience caring for the elderly as a CNA , and volunteering in an ambulance setting. I am CPR, BLS, and advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certified through Upstate Medical University. I can help your loved one with dressing, bathing, household chores, cooking, checking vitals, and socializing. We can go out for doctors appointments, lunch, or shopping! Thank you for reading my bio, and I look forward to hearing from you soon. Best, Maddie
I am a natural caregiver as caring for others is what my purpose in life is. I care deeply for those around me and strive to encourage others to maintain a sense of independence through empowerment. I love being able to help and have been working with L'Arche as a caregiver for 12 years now. My favorite aspects of being a caregiver are around meals and hospitality. I like setting up a warm, welcoming space and making a delicious and healthy meal for others. I have two children that I love sharing my life with at the moment and am thrilled to be the one at home with them. I am very spiritual and like to find the gifts of those around me and nourish them. I love to read, sing, and play games (word games especially), but mostly I love really taking the time to listen to someone and get to know him/her well.
I am very upbeat and like to keep things lighthearted and fun. I come to work with a smile and if I can do my job well and make you smile too it's a successful day. That is why I entered caregiving, to try to make people's days a little easier and a little happier. I genuinely love knowing that I can make a difference in peoples lives. I love the connections I make with people and treating everyone as if they are my own family.
I am an energetic, reliable and compassionate registered nurse who is devoted to caring for others. I have 6 years of nursing experience; 4 years as a LPN and 2 years as a RN. I acquired my experience in a fast-paced hospital setting on a medical surgical floor and I am now avid in shifting my nursing practice to a private duty care giver. My interest in nursing began as a young girl after a personal family experience with a close loved one. Through my high school years, I was given the opportunity to explore the health care field more in depth by shadowing various jobs. I found nursing to be the most appealing because of its diversity and constant advances in medical trends that give plenty of opportunities to build a strong foundation of nursing skills and wide range of experiences. Through dedication and the use of medical advances, my medical expertise and skill sets, I work diligently to provide safe compassionate quality care. I have a strong passion for caring for others and take pride in what I do. I enjoy building trusting relationships with clients and their families and believe communication is the key ingredient. Other traits and experiences include: * Establishes short and long term goals with clients and families. * Proficient in assessments, planning, implementation and evaluation. * 6 years of experience in geriatrics, cardiac and comfort/palliative care. * Well organized and team player with collaborative health care team members. * Ambition to learn new medical advances and experience new things. My current availability would be Monday through Friday after 4:30pm. 1 day a week twice a month I am committed to working a short shift from 8-9:30pm, but I do have a month in advance notice. Thank you for taking the time and your consideration in reviewing my profile. I would be happy to answer any questions or provide any additional information needed. Thank you!

I have been a care giver for many years but this year is special because I received my Home Health Aid certification. I really love being a home health aid, it is a meaningful and fulfilling job! I appreciate learning new things which is why I know how to check insulin levels, administer insulin shots and perform wound care, since these skills aren't in a home health aides scope of practice. I always continue my education because we never stop learning new things! :)
I became a caregiver because I believe that everyone should feel loved and well taken care of in the end stages of life. This type of care requires a person with compassion and respect which I have been told by residents and family members I have an abundance of. I will care for your loved ones as I care for all people, I care with love and kindness.
