I am a Certified Nursing Assistant with three years which include home health, sub-Acute, and long-term care. I am a second year Occupational Therapy student and I have a year experience working as a Rehab Tech. I identify as a Christian and those close to me say I am a very compassionate, problem-solving oriented, reliable and enthusiastic person. I am proactive in listening and suggesting solutions to the person I am caring for. I live as a Christian, that means I live by the teachings of compassion, humility, and honesty. I am personally invested helping others and I bring happiness to make sure a person is well taken care of regardless being outside of paying hours. My faith and personality are the reason I decided to become a care giver. I have a very close relationship with my grandparents and I was a live in care giver for two year. I am familiar with generational gap bonding. I enjoy getting to know a person and I make a great companion so I have been told. I have accumulated a lot of knowledge with my time with my grandparents. I am very familiar with a very variety of different card games and good books. In long term care, I have lead activity group in the past with those struggling to connect with dementia. I understand the importance of following a set routine especially for those with dementia. In home health, I have a 2016 RAV 4 hybrid and clean driving record. I enjoyed getting to know a person on a one-one basis. I have a and big trunk for where ever the days adventure takes us! I have an excellent track record of keeping to an organized way of life and very hand with house projects. I have worked in the cooperate nursing care but it's quite broken because it's about money. I'm a CNA caring and compassionate. It does my heart good to help people, I've been this way since childhood. I enjoy getting to know my clients as a friend if permitted. Always ready to lend a friendly ear, some elderly just want someone to listen and understand. I enjoy doing activities that make my clients happy, whether that is personal hygiene, house hold chores, playing board games, a companion by their side to walk with in the sunshine. I love old movies, songs, and Lucille Ball reruns to name a few of my interests. I encourage the elderly to feel good about the tasks they are still able to perform in daily living. I treat each person I care for with the utmost respect and confidentiality, that I would my own grandmother. She was very loving, always taught me to see the good in people and believe in god. I am a good woman of the christian faith. I'm eager to please my clients and families, and I do prepare meals if needed.
