I have done Nursing assistant/CNA work, for over 30 years. I come from a medical family. My mother was a nurse, so I spent a lot of time in hospitals and nursing homes. I developed a love for helping elderly people. While business minded, patient care is my first love. I have worked at Westchester medical center, in Valhalla NY, before moving to CT. I have done internships at Lord Chamberlain in Stratford, Mead Street nursing in New Haven, and I have done home care for Regional network of Programs. I have also worked at St. Vincents special needs, with mentally disabled people, in a day program. Also worked at State of Connecticut brain waiver program, assisting a bed ridden male, with total care. I like making the patient feel good about themselves. I dont like for them to feel hopeless and depressed. I put a smile on their face, and make them feel good about themselves.
