Working with people in their home it is essential that I feel the desire to want to help. By showing both empathy and compassion I will let the person that am caring for know that I care about them and want to do what I can to help them. What attracted me to be a caregiver is "Patience" when I work with someone who needs home care it is important that I am patient and understanding. It helps me sometimes to put myself in the other person's shoes and see what it might be like to ask people for help. The most enjoyable moment about being a caregiver is Helping the people that needs help. I have had a few personal achievements that I am proud of being a caregiver, is going in someone's home and helping them to gain back their strength and support them to be a better person that they were.
