About Emily

Some of my personality traits that make me a great caregiver or that I'm compassionate, knowledgeable and most of all medical needs, I tend to go above and beyond what is asked of me said that my clients are well taken care of and one for nothing while I am there. What attracted me to becoming a caregiver is that I love taking care of people and helping them when they're in able to do things for themselves, I treat people the way I would want to be treated or I would want my family members to be treated. I enjoy caregiving because It allows me to give back to people that are unable to do things for myself anymore I also love learning from my clients and their lives and what they need to me there is no greater reward then helping someone else.

In July 2008 I transferred upstairs to the main hospital from new horizons adult daycare center as a clinical technical assistant, so I’ve actually been employed with the hospital since 2007. As a clinical technical assistant my responsibilities are those of Nursing Assistant And a tech. My patient responsibilities in clue did in the constant care of our patients and their needs; I took care of daily bathing, linen, Perry care if in continent, I also was certified in phlebotomy for the hospital, putting in catheters and fully care, animals when ordered, wound care, companionship to those with mental illnesses or Alzheimer’s/Dementia. I also ran the units receptionist desk while putting in medical orders and many patients to the floor I was working. I answered phones and communicated with doctors and their offices. I was also certified to do EKGs and I’m able to interpret it and monitor telemetry on MedSurg floors. I also provided any assistance to that pictures and nurses that they required while I was working on each individual floor.
