About Marianne

To CareLinx. My resume will reflect my employment history since moving to Charleston in 1989. I believe I would qualify for a caregiver because I have spent the last 5 Years periodically taking care of my aged parents in their home when a critical illness occurred. And my sister is a severe diabetic, losing a foot and on dialysis, who needs periodic care. My girls are grown and I have had employment that allows me to leave for extended time. Now my parents have long term care in their home and my sister has her children along with a part-time nurse. However, while my sister and my parents remain on my mind, I need to earn a living. My best personal achievement was being a single parent to my daughters from ages 10 and 13. They are happy and hardworking young women who have overcome a challenge of being without their father. It is of great importance that I spend my retirement doing a job that is worthwhile and fulfilling. My hobbies are reading, playing cards and board games.
