I am a very kind and compassionate woman. For the last 3 years I have been caring for both my Father and Mother. Sadly, both passed this year. In caring for them I realized the importance of having a totally committed caregiver by their sides. My Mother had severe dementia and a colostomy bag. I learned quickly how to help bath her and change her bag. I fed her and groomed her with love. My Father was functional but very unsteady on his feet. I cooked for him and drove him to his appointments. I cleaned and shopped for them. I am committed to working with families who find themselves in this position with their aging parents. I know from experience how important it is to have a loyal and trusting caregiver in the home. I take great comfort in knowing I played such a crucial role in my Parents health and well being right up to the end. I currently help a 91 year old woman who can no longer drive. I shop for her and take her to her appointments. I brings me joy to know I am making her life easier.
