I decided to become an Occupational Therapist after observing my own grandmother's journey recovering and rehabilitating after her stroke over 15 years ago. Following undergraduate (Capital University) and graduate school (Ohio State) to become an OT, I used my passion and education to treat young patients at Nationwide Children's Hospital in both an outpatient and homecare setting. I love developing rapport with new patients and families! I am a very patient, approachable and compassionate. I am the mother to 4 beautiful children and following the birth of my fourth baby a year and a half ago I have decided to stay home to have an active role in raising my children, but am also missing my role as a therapist. I would love to find part time working evenings or weekends. Allowing me to continue to care for my young children but also serve the community and provide care for others. I am a licensed Occupational Therapist through the state of Ohio license-OT007539, and board certified through NBCOT.

Getting them to do things that they love to do! Exercising, experience with dementia am Alzheimer's disease. Walking puzzles, playing card, shopping ect, bathing showering cleaning house doing laundry and taking them to appointments especially hair appointments that they love. I absolutely love taking care of the elderly so they can stay in their homes as long as possible.
