1. I always enjoyed being with my grandparents and since they've been gone I enjoy being with, talking to and helping the elderly. I became a caregiver in late 1990's to mid 2000's. I've recently came back to the field because I miss doing it. 2. The companionship and talking with the clients, helping them to feel at ease so that they don't think f you so much as an outsider. 3. I was able to be with one of my favorite clients when she passed. She knew I loved her dearly and she only had a couple relatives left whom she didn't see very often other than her grandson that took care of her estate. I know as she passed, she knew she wasn't alone and that someone that loved her was by her side at the end. Out of all of her care givers, I was the one she always wanted there to help her, train the other girls and to take care of her 22 year old cat. I have also finished school for Medical Assisting as well as CNA classes. 4. I am very protective of my clients and not only watch out for them, but also for their possessions because they can't always see or keep track of their things as well as the used to or sometimes they are too trusting of people. I feel it's my job to look out for them because they are trusting me with not only their lives, but the things they've worked their whole life for and their family can't ways be there.
