As a caregiver, it's more than just a paycheck to me. I take my job seriously and being able to be a help to someone is a blessing in itself. I initially decided that I wanted to be a caregiver when I took care of my dad after he became ill. The best part about being a caregiver is being able to assist someone in accomplishing their daily tasks. A personal achievement that I am proud of is when the consumers ask when I'm coming back, at the end of my shift. I know then that I did my job.
