Hello, I have been in the health care for 10 years off and on. I remember when I was young my grandmother was a home health aide and I would go with her to the patients house and would watch her and how she was with her patients. I remember thinking, that's what I want to do. I started In 2009 and for the past couple years I took a break from it due to financial reasons. I don't believe you can stay in home health for the money, because we all know home health aides are the lowest paid. I believe you have to love what you do and have a caring heart. Staying in home health for as long as I did is due to me loving what I did and now that I am unemployed, I want to jump back in to my calling.

I have cut my client's hair because they can't get out. Just in case you are wondering....... no.... never have done that for a living-was never trained in that profession but just watching others do it and I love to learn new things. Right now, reading a how-to book... on plumbing. So.. is there anything your are interested in learning? Never too old to learn new things.
