About Ashley

I am a patient and kind person and love to help people. I enjoy hearing about people's past and all the things they have done in there life. My patience is what helps me the most I am in no hurry to make someone do what I want it's about them and what makes them be able to live there best life. Seniors are at an age where they have done and seen a lot of things and do know something about living. I started as a home care worker and loved being able to help someone especially in there home where they are comfortable. I then got my CNA liscense and worked in a facility but my heart was set on home care and that is what I do today and really enjoy it. I am most proud of my ability to go into a home and adapt and make the client comfortable it is hard enough to get to the point where you need a caregiver let alone have someone come in and take over. I like to be a support for a client not a boss. So I hope that whoever reads this understands I am here for the client and ready to make a difference in ther life. Also my rate is negotiable depending on the nature of the job.

    My primary concern as a caregiver is to make sure that my client is able to function at the best of their ability and to make sure that they are having the highest quality of life that they are able to have. I am not only there for my client but I am also there for the family (such as: to let them go grocery shopping, are just to be another set of ears at doctor appointments or for the family. After a few days with the client and the family I begin to consider them family. I have a great amount of nurturing and empathy, some say I care to much but I give 150% to my clients and families. I enjoy order and dispensing medication, relating to my clients, enjoy the pass and working on family history. I have no parents or grandparents so my clients kind of fill these roles. I have been a first responder, EMT, CPR Instructor, nurse's aide, and medication aide. My personal achievement that I am most proud of is having a D.N.S. that I work with for a long time trust me to teach new nurse's the medication routine and to be a charge nurse. As a personal care giver the highest praise I can be given is for my client to tell me I must be an angel and that they love me.
