I am experienced caregiver since 2010. I went to CNA but I did not renew my license. I am Certified Respiratory Therapist and did practice the profession.

I have been in the Care Giving Industry for the last 6 and a half years. I have worked with Agencies, Nursing Homes, RCFEs ( known as 6-bed facilities), Hospice and Private care, and live-in as well. I am a good listener, patient, attentive compassionate, dependable, and trustworthy. I am punctual, reliable, hardworking, and will treat your loved one like my own family. My mother had spina bifida and ESRD, so I am well versed in home health care and what it entails. As a CMA I am fully vaccinated (including the Covid vaccine) and CPR certified. I am particularly interested in night shifts. I am experienced in hospice care, memory care, senior care, and all aspects of assistance. I have a reliable vehicle and a clean driving record, and I am willing to help transport your loved one for errands, doctors' visits, and anything else they might need. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with honors from my degree program, and was hired immediately by the organization I externed with following my program completion, so that is something I'm really proud of! I truly believe to be an excellent caregiver you must put the clients needs & feelings first. I strive to make sure all my clients maintain their sense of normalcy and dignity. I am a very compassionate person. I care for all clients as I would care for a family member. It is very important to me to make sure all clients have the dignity and respect they deserve. Caregiving has made me feel like I have a sense of purpose in this world and it makes me go home everyday feeling like I have accomplished something meaningful. I have been a caregiver since I graduated high school in 2003, and although I have tried working other jobs, caregiving is the only place I have felt fulfilled.

Hello..first off I want to express my belief and reasons for why I'm in this field. People of all ages need assistance. .whether it be temporary or permanent. I have been there when it has come to having babies (they grown now) after surgery, or a long time position of assistant. I love what I do, I have compassion for the hurting and patience. I have references for that :) I'm a License massage therapist that believes even touch heals. Whether young or old. I have sense of humor..don't mind in repeating myself a million times ( that's the patience I have ) when it comes to alziemers Love to stay busy,love to read,LOVE TO COOK, I am a believer In Jesus Christ! my children are grown now,I am a grandma..I schedule my time with my family on my daysoff. Prefer to be on a consistent schedule so it doesn't cause confusion to my client or outside life. Dependable..never late ( I have proof from clients :) ) And can be in most cases..flexible. I believe what makes me a great caregiver is that I always go the extra not just one mile but two miles just to make any client happy meaning making sure they're needs are always being met from the smallest task to a task that's challenging for them to do that they used to do. I am a happy person, have a genuine heart, trustworthy, punctual, honest, great listener, responsible, reliable, and I am a maximize. I am a self-starter if I know what's expected. I will always do things that the clients tell me I don't have to. I have the compassion, understanding; having the patience make a difference in your interaction with the client because they can feel a caregivers energy, and I personally always put out positive energy despite what mood the client may be in. You can always turn a negative interaction into a positive one just by being understanding and empathetic towards their situation. I would also make an awesome caregiver because I always put myself in their situation. I became a caregiver because I love helping the elderly and I have a compassionate heart towards them. Giving back to the elderly community due to understanding that as people age things become more challenging when it comes to getting things done, I want to make it easier on the clients that may not always have someone to assist them and make it a little easier for them to accomplish a task. Also, clients have may not someone to talk to and or eat with, etc.. and they just want a companionship, and I can be that companion for them. What I like about being a caregiver is that the clients are sweet, funny, have a sense of humor, the clients families are supportive and helpful, I like building that report with them. A personal achievement I am proud of is when a client request me and misses me when I am not there; this tells me I have built that report and I've made a positive impact on that client.
