I have cared for hundreds of people in the skilled nursing facilities I've worked in. I have also given in home care for an elderly couple and for my friend's grandmother. I love caring for elderly people and younger people with debilitating diseases. I love hearing stories of their life. The most notable one was a holocaust survivor. The achievement I'm most proud of was healing a terrible, stage four decubitus ulcer, that went all the way to the resident's bone. I can say, happily, that we were able to rehabilitate many people so they could go home.
