My name is Megan and I am a loving caregiver. After I watched my great grandmother suffer from cancer I stood by her bed and took care of her until her last friend. I worked alongside with hospice that stayed 24 hours to accompany her. I enjoy taking care of people who are no longer able to do it themselves. What i like the most about caregiving is the ability to treat those as I would want myself to be treated in time of need. I find that with compassion, good listening skills and trying to understand and empathize with my clients not only does my client feel loved but learn that they can work towards a goal, increase their independance or have one that will help meet my clients needs . I find it extremely rewarding personally and always find new friends and family along this path.
