Hello, My name is Octavia Mcleod I'm 34 yrs of age and I'm blessed to have three beautiful children. One of kids which is 12, he really is my nephew but I raised him as my son since birth. He is the reason I'm currently in the care giving field. He has hit my a motor vehicle and required years of nursing, therapy, 24 hour around the clock care due to severe traumatic brain injuries he was left with. He was only 4 at the time so this has not only became a job to me it became a passion to me to care for not only him but others as well. I had in house RNs in my house for 5 years until I requested to care for him myself. Being a caregiver provides families with extra support for their live ones especially when families have jobs and families of their own and don't have the extra time to care for a love one that really needs that extra care and love. Being a caregiver allows me to give, love, support, help, and comfort and for that I feel accomplished every day when I come home to my family, knowing I have do those things for someone whom may not have that.

I love helping clients that can't do for themselves with their daily tasks.

Im just a regular person I love life I'm out going I love to talk I'm a big fan of getting things done the right way not the fastest way, I have a little over 4 1/2 years of experience in nursing im here for you not for the money I love to help people and do my best at what I do, and when I'm caring for your love one, you will not have to worry because I will treat them as they are my own family with respect care love and compassion, smiles are the best to see on someone's face I'm a happy go lucky girl from the woods in south GA but I love to broaden my horizons, in different states as well think you for considering me for the role to take care of your family member, my pay can also be adjusted to fit in the means of you and pay can be changed as well

I've been caring for patients for about 8 years even through school to get my Phlebotomist Certificate I keep heart on Nurse Aid because I'm very passionate and caring for my patients, the elderly deserve all respect and time . I love being there for others especially those that live alone with none to little support.

The personality traits I take on that would make a great caregiver are being very observant straight forward. In fact, what attracted to me to being a caregiver is being around my mother helping her take care of her parents so this kinda was something that I fell into so it became natural to me just by watching her. However, what I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is that I can absolutely be myself 1 hundred percent and still get the job done. Overall, a personal achievement I am proud of is getting an opportunity like this.

I've been a caregiver for about seven years dealing with many different cultures. What I love so much about being a caregiver is helping people that can't or no longer help themselves. While being a caregiver I've learned that every clue has different needs which I'm comfortable with. Also I've private sat with an ALS patient caring for her day and night that required lots so it's basically nothing I can't do.
